This page is dedicated to the pets that I have lost but will never be forgotten
Bertie Boo
A rescue that no one claimed after he was involved in a road accident. He was the bravest cat ever. Never scared of dogs, always up for a cuddle and never nasty. Any dog that came for grooming (although he didn't know them) he would sit on the grooming table with them and wait to be brushed. He never liked to be left out.
Passed away after a stroke 1 day off being 18 years old
Probably annoying the others over rainbow bridge
SIMPLY THE BEST!

Jess 3/10/98 - 23/5/04
Jess was rescued by the Ark from the streets of Sheffield. She was a totally screwed up dog, had barbed wire scars on her back legs and never knew how to play. The first day we brought her home she pinned Taz up against the wall by his throat, and she had the worst case of separation anxiety I have ever seen. She became my soulmate, a beautiful dog who was just happy to have her walks and a nice bed to sleep in (although re-habilitating her was hard work). The first day I took her to training, she reared up and pulled me out the door, she was petrified.
Her life was cut very short. 5 months after we rescued her she developed liver disease and within a week her eyeballs were a golden colour. She became a bag of bones and we thought we were going to lose her. However she was a true fighter. She picked up and survived another two years until her body finally gave up. It was, and still is absolutely heartbreaking. We only had 3 years with her and there was so much that she missed out on. We can only look back and be thankful we tried to give her a normal life at the time she was here. I believe Jess came to us for a reason. Her purpose in life was to leave me with more knowledge than I had started with so I could continue to help others. She was invaluable and we miss her everyday, but I am sure Jumble, Taz and Bertie are keeping her in order by rainbow bridge until we can be re-united. Miss you loads Jess xxx

Jumble 12/8/89 - 27/3/06
My very first dog and the one I made all the mistakes with. He slept on my bed, sat on the sofa and if he growled ... I moved. Oh he taught me so much. He went to puppy training but spent most of his time running to the other side of the field. He grew up to be the most amazing dog, I took him everywhere. He came to me from the police pound as he was found tied to a lampost in the middle of the countryside at the age of 7 weeks. He was beautiful! He had the life that all dogs deserve.
Til we meet again at the bridge. Sleep tight xxx

Taz man 12/5/98 - 4/4/14
When we got Taz at 7 months old he had cigarette burns on his nose and was very frightened. 7 years later he appeared on the first ever live semi finals of Britains Got Talent with Mels Klever K9s. Taz taught me how to cope with a dog with problems and has been invaluable. He was the most loving dog and now at nearly 16 years old we sadly had to say goodbye. He was the ultimate dancing dog and will be sorely missed within the household. All I hope for is that he is now making up his own routines over rainbow bridge so that one day he can teach me how to dance them. Run free little man and say hi to the others. I am sure they were there to greet you after your final journey. xxx
