Tazmania's Tart 'o' Tia
24/4/2005 - 8/1/2021
Tia was an Akita x Collie who we rescued from Jerry Greens. For those of you who knew Tia, knew what a challenge she had been and remained a challenge every day. She was a loveable rogue with a character that always made you laugh but she could also be very head strong, although her intentions were always to protect her family. Her favourite past time was sticking her nose to a window when people were looking at her, then only moving her eyes. She should always have been an assistance dog as she was forever helping me with the washing and housework by collecting things left about, picking up pegs I had dropped and bringing me stray socks...... Oh and not forgetting collecting the post! The first obedience show I entered her in, she won pre-beginners and then she decided it wasn't for her. She loved hwm and agility and would work with whoever wanted her on the day.
Sadly at the age of 13 she was diagnosed with a spleen tumour and we lost her just a few months before her 16 birthday. Until her dying day however, she was loving life, turning her hand to experience Hoopers before she passed
Rest in peace my beautiful girl you will be missed by all who loved you x
